SIVD 2024  ENERGETICS - NEW CHALLENGES AND OPPORTUNITIES 

Energetics is a dynamic sector that, with its diverse energy sources, technologies and value chain, plays a key role in meeting global energy demands. From conventional to renewables, the industry continues to evolve, driven by innovation, policy developments and sustainability imperatives.

Recycling, specifically of EV batteries, is a largely neglected factor in Slovakia and the EU, although it can help, for example, in reducing dependence on critical materials and raw materials from abroad.

In areas, where it will be difficult or even impossible to achieve net zero emissions with existing decarbonisation technology, innovation will be essential. In order to deliver new technology to the market, the necessary solutions must keep pace with innovation.

Renewable sources represent clean, safe and sustainable energy, offering cleaner alternatives to fossil fuels.
